Positive: I chose Hiša Aleš mainly for its central location, and it truly served that purpose well. It offered an easy drive to Ljubljana, Bled, and Piran, making it a convenient base for exploring Slovenia. The hotel sits in a small, authentic village with local homes and friendly neighbors, giving the stay a genuine, peaceful atmosphere. The free parking was a practical bonus, and the service was warm and pleasant throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight — rich, varied, and freshly prepared, with tasty complimentary extras like omelettes, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The room itself was comfortable, equipped with AC, which was essential during the heat wave, and a nice balcony that added a pleasant touch.
Negative: Dogs crying and whining at night, which affected the quiet atmosphere The room felt slightly overpriced for this category I paid extra for a superior room, but it didn’t offer any real upgrade; no view, and surprisingly, the elevator can only be used for luggage, meaning guests must use the stairs
